NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. We have been fully participating in all INEC activities without let or hindrance. NDC also fielded candidates, and fully pa...

Donna Mills, 85, Fires Back at Critic Over Makeup, “Style Doesn’t Have an Expiration Date”

Donna Mills is making one thing clear, confidence does not come with an age cap.

The 85-year-old screen icon recently addressed an online comment aimed at her appearance after a social media user suggested she wears “too much makeup” for her age. Rather than ignore it, the actress responded with charm, confidence, and just the right touch of sass.

In a video shared on Instagram, the Knots Landing star laughed off the remark and turned it into a stylish statement. Dressed in a leather jacket, lace top, jeans, glossy pink lipstick, and a soft smoky eye, Donna appeared completely unfazed.

“Oh, this comment. I guess I didn’t get the memo,” she said with a playful laugh.

The clip then shifted into a cheeky moment as she appeared dressed in an exaggerated old-fashioned look, complete with a grey bun, pearls, glasses, and a frilly blouse, poking fun at the idea that older women are expected to fit into a narrow image.

“Did you want me to look like this?” she asked.

Then came the line that has people talking.

“Sorry, not sorry. I like the way I look. This is my style. And style doesn’t have an expiration date, does it?”

Her message struck a chord online, with many praising her confidence and refusal to bow to age-based criticism.

Several celebrities also jumped into the comments to cheer her on. Viola Davis reacted with applause and heart emojis, while Kyle Richards wrote that she loved the video. Octavia Spencer responded with fire emojis, and Nancy Sinatra also showed support.

Donna’s latest response fits perfectly with the attitude she has maintained over the years about aging and self-care.

In an earlier conversation about staying healthy, she shared that discipline has been a major part of her lifestyle. She explained that during her soap opera years, she was extremely careful with her diet, avoiding foods like sugar, bread, and desserts.

These days, she still keeps things balanced and says she eats plenty of vegetables, many of which she grows herself.

Fitness also remains a big part of her routine. Donna revealed that she plays tennis several times a week and also keeps a home gym where she works with light weights, stretches regularly, and uses her exercise bike.

She admitted it is not always easy, especially with arthritis, but said consistency matters more than comfort.
