 Hackers steal $6.3 billion from Binance in record Crypto Heist Hackers have stolen $6.3 billion from Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, in the biggest crypto heist in human history. “This was a complex attack, and we are doing all we can in coordination with law enforcement to resolve it,” Binance said in a post about the breach, which has shaken the cryptocurrency market. The cryptocurrency exchange said on Friday that deposits were unaffected and that it was working with partners to freeze some of the affected assets, with about $3 billion located so far. Withdrawals have been suspended for the next day. Binance did not mention the status of the remaining $3.3 billion, but said it will cover all losses.  GOVERNOR YUSUF DIRECTS KASITDA TO INTRODUCE DIGITAL APPLICATION FOR URBAN PLANNING 


Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has directed the State Information and Communication Development Agency (KASITDA) to introduce a newly developed digital application for the Urban Planning Office in line with the State’s Digital Transformation Agenda (DTA).


Dr. Bashir Abdu Muzakkari Director General Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority, KNUPDA, stated this during a strategic working visit to the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA). He said the initiative is designed to drive a seamless transition to electronic governance (e-Governance).


The DG explained that the project targets key sectors, including Health, Justice, and Lands Administration, enabling them to digitize operations and significantly improve the speed, quality, and accessibility of services delivered to the people of Kano State.


Describing the initiative as a transformative, cross-cutting intervention. Dr. Muzakkari noted that, when fully implemented, it will enhance operational efficiency, strengthen urban regulatory compliance, and improve transparency and security in government processes.
