 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. GOVERNOR OTTI APPROVES RECONSTITUTION OF ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT BOARD 


The Governor of Abia State HE Dr. Alex Otti, OFR has approved the reconstitution of the Management Board of the Abia State Teaching Hospital in line with the enabling law establishing the institution. 


The reconstitution is aimed at strengthening governance, improving service delivery, and enhancing the quality of medical training and healthcare services provided by the hospital.


The newly reconstituted Board comprises the following:


1. Dr. Ezinne Chinyere Benjamin-Kalu – Chairman

2. Prof. Nneka Chioma Okoronkwo – Chief Medical Director⁠


3. Dr. Kelechi Omende – Member


4. Dr. Temple Nwosu – Member


5. Dr. Patrick Umezurike – Member


6. Prof. P. E. N. Onyemachi – Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee 


7. Prof. Gazie Okpara – Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Senate Representative


8. Prof. Chuks Kamanu– Provost, College of Medical Sciences


9. Dr. Mrs. Ifeyinwa Blossom Uma Kalu - P/S, Health Ministry 


10. Mrs. Ihuoma Nwagbara – Director of Administration / Secretary to the Board

11. ⁠Dr. Odochi Ewurum- NMA


His Excellency congratulates the Chairman and Members of the Board and charges them to justify the confidence reposed in them by working assiduously to reposition the Teaching Hospital as a centre of excellence in healthcare delivery, medical training, and research.


The appointments take immediate effect.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
