AKPABIO URGES SOUTH EAST TO SHUN ARMED STRUGGLE, EMBRACE PEACE FOR DEVELOPMENT. (PHOTO).

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has appealed to the people of the South East to sustain peace and prevent their youth from engaging in armed struggle against the Federal Government. Akpabio made the plea on Saturday during the funeral of Sir Albert Ikechukwu Nnamani, former Administrative Secretary of the defunct Oil Mineral Producing Area Development Commission (OMPADEC), held in Ikem, Enugu State. In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, Akpabio emphasised that development can only thrive in a peaceful atmosphere and urged Ndigbo to properly mentor the younger generation. “For Ndigbo, I want to plead with you to continue to maintain the peace and watch the youth of today. They don’t understand politics. They don’t understand development. You can only have development in an area of peace,” Akpabio said. The Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ),  Prof., Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR approves the participation of the Corps' Personnel in "20 Days of Eloquence - Nigeria Speaks to the World," a Guinness World Official Record Attempt for the Longest Public Speaking Relay, scheduled to take place in Lagos from 1st April to 21st April, 2026.


The Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Adedotun Keshinro charges participants drawn from the Command to represent the service to see themselves as Ambassadors  with the view to making the Corps proud at the very rare global speaking opportunity.


The Dean, School of Eloquence ( West Africa's Only Certified Speaking Professional ), Mr Ubong Essien, CSP, arpa, welcomes the NSCDC participants; Assistant Commandant of Corps Adebimpe Bada and Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin today, Saturday, 11th April, 2026 to its global platform located in Osborne, Ikoyi, Lagos.


The Guinness World Record Official Attempt gives the NSCDC the veritable opportunity to eloquently explain its role in Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Protection ( CNAI - P ), Safe School Initiative , Crisis and Disaster Management, Intelligence and Information Gathering , Community Engagements, Private Guard Company regulation , VIP Protection amidst other core mandates .

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
