 OPERATION ENDURING PEACE INTENSIFIES SECURITY MEASURES TO CURB ESCALATION OF TENSIONS WITHIN JOS METROPOLIS In a proactive move to prevent further escalation of the ongoing crisis in Jos North, troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE, initiated a comprehensive stop-and-search exercise across the Jos metropolis on Friday. This strategic intervention is part of a broader mandate to restore absolute normalcy and ensure the safety of lives and property within the State. ​The heightened security presence yielded immediate results as troops successfully intercepted and arrested 2 suspects as well as recovered one fabricated AK-47 rifle along with four rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and one pump action with a cutlass. Jessica Simpson Is Moving Forward, Reportedly Dating Musician Thomas Eisenhood


Jessica Simpson appears to have started a new chapter in her personal life following her separation from Eric Johnson.


Reports from multiple outlets, first by TMZ on April 2, indicate that the 45-year-old singer is dating Nashville musician Thomas Eisenhood. Sources say the pair have been together for several months and were introduced through mutual friends.


This new relationship comes more than a year after Simpson and Johnson, 46, announced they were separating in January 2025, ending a decade of marriage. 


At the time, Simpson told Us Weekly, “Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage. 


"Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”


The former couple share three children: daughters Maxwell Drew, 13, Birdie Mae, 7, and son Ace Knute, 12.


Following the split, Simpson concentrated on her musical comeback, releasing the two-song EP Nashville Canyon in March 2025, which hinted at strains in her marriage.


Insiders told Us Weekly later in 2025 that Simpson and Johnson were on good terms despite their separation. 


“They are getting along well, and everyone seems to be very happy,” one source said in September 2025. 


“They talk and see each other all the time and have decided that no matter what happens, they will get along for the kids.”


By December 2025, another insider confirmed the pair had no plans to rekindle their romantic relationship, stating, “They’re not considering getting back together, but they have love and respect for each other. They are in no rush to file for divorce and are focusing on their kids right now.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
