 OPERATION ENDURING PEACE INTENSIFIES SECURITY MEASURES TO CURB ESCALATION OF TENSIONS WITHIN JOS METROPOLIS In a proactive move to prevent further escalation of the ongoing crisis in Jos North, troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE, initiated a comprehensive stop-and-search exercise across the Jos metropolis on Friday. This strategic intervention is part of a broader mandate to restore absolute normalcy and ensure the safety of lives and property within the State. ​The heightened security presence yielded immediate results as troops successfully intercepted and arrested 2 suspects as well as recovered one fabricated AK-47 rifle along with four rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and one pump action with a cutlass. Judge dismisses most of Blake Lively’s sexual harassment claims against director Justin Baldoni 


A federal judge on Thursday dismissed most of the claims in Blake Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, the director and co-star of her 2024 film “It Ends With Us.”

In the case, Lively’s lawyers argued that Baldoni repeatedly crossed boundaries on set, describing him as “consistently inappropriate.” They also accused Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios production company of carrying out a punitive “smear campaign” after Lively spoke out about the alleged toxic work environment.

Baldoni’s legal team countered, stating their client was “kissed, nuzzled and touched” without her consent. Neither Lively nor Baldoni’s representatives have responded to requests for comment.

A Zoom hearing regarding the remaining claims is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. ET.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
