 DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTED CRIMINALS, RECOVER TWO BERETTA PISTOLS, NINE ROUNDS OF LIVE AMMUNITION, SUSPECTED COCAINE, AND MERCEDES-BENZ SUV The Delta State Police Command has recorded another significant operational success with the arrest of two suspected criminals and the recovery of firearms, live ammunition, suspected cocaine, and other incriminating exhibits during a stop-and-search operation carried out by operatives of the Safer Highway Patrol along the Agbarho–Warri Road on 25 July 2026. The suspects, Omini Ezeri (46) and Chinedum Wagbara (42), both residents of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, were intercepted while travelling in a grey Mercedes-Benz ML SUV with registration number AAA 604 JZ. During preliminary interrogation, a third occupant of the vehicle, God Knows Ifreke, suddenly took to his heels and escaped into a nearby swamp.  Kaduna South Senatorial Aspirant, Engr. Ciroma Joseph Denies Stepping Down For Senator Danjuma La’ah


A Kaduna South senatorial aspirant, Engr. Ciroma Joseph, has dismissed claims that he has stepped down for Senator Danjuma La’ah, describing the reports as false and misleading.


In a statement, Engr. Ciroma clarified that he remains fully in the race and has not authorized anyone to speak or act on his behalf regarding any withdrawal or endorsement.


He also disowned a social media post attributed to one Pompo Poposiya Jonah, stating that the individual is neither his spokesperson nor a member of his media team. He urged the public to disregard any information not officially communicated by him or through his verified channels.


He emphasized the importance of truth, integrity, and respect in politics, calling on all stakeholders to promote a healthy and credible political environment.


The aspirant reaffirmed his commitment to his ambition and appreciated his supporters for their continued loyalty, urging them to remain steadfast as he continues his political journey.
