Trump issues pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer after insider trading conviction    President Donald Trump has issued a full pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer, who served nearly two years in prison after being convicted of insider trading tied to post-congressional consulting work. Buyer was sentenced in 2023 to 22 months in prison for illegal stock trades made while working as a consultant and lobbyist. He was ordered to forfeit more than $350,000 in ill-gotten gains and pay a $10,000 fine. He was released from custody in 2025 after his conviction was upheld, with the Supreme Court declining to take up his appeal earlier this year.  Katherine Schwarzenegger sparks backlash for saying she 'needs' Chris Pratt

Katherine Schwarzenegger sparked debate online after praising her husband, Chris Pratt, for building a dollhouse for their daughters.

In an Instagram post, she referred to Pratt as her “golden retriever husband” and said she couldn’t understand women who claim they don’t need their husbands, noting that she relies on him for projects like this.

The couple, married since 2019, share three young children together, and Katherine is also stepmother to Pratt’s son Jack from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.

Her comments quickly drew mixed reactions. Some followers criticized the post as unintentionally sexist, arguing that women are equally capable of building dollhouses and that her words carried “Handmaid’s Tale vibes.”

Others defended Schwarzenegger, saying her message was simply a heartfelt appreciation of her husband’s effort and a sweet memory for their children.

Supporters also pointed out that Pratt could easily afford to hire someone but chose to do the work himself, which made the gesture more meaningful.

Beyond the controversy, Schwarzenegger has often spoken about her and Pratt’s parenting style, emphasizing a return to simpler childhood traditions.

She explained that they limit electronics in their household, focusing instead on outdoor play, creativity, and daily storytime.

Raised in Los Angeles by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, Katherine has also expressed openness to moving her family away from Hollywood someday, stressing that being close to her parents and siblings is her greatest priority.
