 Court Fixes July 10 For Judgment On Malami's 57 Properties Forfeiture Suit A Federal High Court in Abuja has set July 10, 2026 as new date for judgment in the suit filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seeking the final forfeiture of 57 properties linked to Abubakar Malami, former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.  The presiding judge, Joyce Abdulmalik had earlier fixed Monday, July 6, 2026 for judgment after both parties adopted their final processes and argued the case on May 26.  However, the judge moved her  judgment to Friday, July 10, 2026 The EFCC previously secured an interim forfeiture order for the assets, valued at over N212 billion. The properties are located in Abuja, Kano, Kebbi, and Kaduna.  Lindsay Lohan's stepmother arrested for allegedly punching and throwing a knife at Michael Lohan


Lindsay Lohan’s stepmother, Kate Major Lohan, was arrested in Harris County, Texas, after allegedly assaulting her husband, Michael Lohan. 


According to inmate records, she was booked on April 14 on suspicion of assaulting a family or household member with a prior conviction and is scheduled for arraignment Thursday.


Court documents allege Kate punched Michael, leaving him with a bloody nose, and threw a steak knife at him during a physical altercation at her home. 


Reports also claim she was intoxicated at the time. The couple, married since 2014, share two sons, Landon and Logan, and have had a turbulent relationship with multiple arrests on both sides.


Earlier this year, Michael was charged in Texas with felony “continuous violence against the family” after Kate accused him of flipping her out of a chair, leaving visible bruises. 


He was also arrested in Florida for violating probation. 


Kate has asked for privacy for the sake of her children, while Michael’s representatives have defended him as a devoted father and husband.
