 Set designer Mary Kate Golding found dead in Queens home as police investigate possible murder-suicide Police are investigating the deaths of television set designer Mary Kate Golding and her husband after the 34-year-old was found fatally stabbed inside her Queens home. According to the New York Police Department, officers responded shortly after midnight on Tuesday, July 21, to a residence in Astoria, where they found Golding with a fatal stab wound to her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Several hours later, at about 6:39 a.m., officers responded to a separate 911 call reporting an unconscious person near Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard. Police found an unresponsive man in the park, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An NYPD source identified the man as Joseph Azzaretto, Golding's husband.  Macron reportedly invites Trump to Versailles dinner after G7 summit in France 

French President Emmanuel Macron has reportedly invited President Trump to a dinner at the Palace of Versailles following the upcoming G7 summit in France this June, in what would mark a symbolic gesture tied to long-standing U.S.-French relations. The summit, set for June 15–17 in Évian-les-Bains, brings together leaders of major industrialized nations to discuss global policy, and France has adjusted the schedule slightly amid overlapping White House-related events, including a UFC fight and Trump’s 80th birthday festivities on June 14.

The reported invitation for a post-summit dinner at Versailles is said to be intended to highlight the “shared history” between the United States and France ahead of America’s 250th anniversary on July 4. However, neither the French presidential office nor the White House has confirmed the report, and officials have not clarified whether Trump plans to attend the summit or the dinner.

The possible appearance comes after Trump left last year’s G7 summit in Canada early due to escalating tensions in the Middle East involving Iran and Israel, an exit that disrupted negotiations among participating nations. According to reports, there is also uncertainty among officials about his attendance this year, even as Macron is said to be strongly encouraging him to come.

The invitation comes against the backdrop of heightened tensions between the U.S. and several European allies over the ongoing conflict involving Iran. Trump has criticized NATO partners for their response to the situation and accused some countries of not providing sufficient support, while European leaders have pushed back on aspects of U.S. military action and related policy decisions.
