 Florida couple accuse fertility clinic of using stranger’s sperm for daughter’s embryo in IVF mix-up: ‘Betrayed’ A Florida couple has accused a fertility clinic of using another man’s sperm to create their daughter’s embryo — as their dream of being biological parents was upended when they learned of their child’s DNA. Joshua and Natalie Strong alleged that Brown Fertility clinic officials in Jacksonville, Fla., including Medical Director Dr. Samuel Brown and 10 other defendants, caused the mix-up that resulted in their 1-year-old daughter’s biological father being a stranger, according to a lawsuit obtained by The Post. “They trusted Brown Fertility, as well as its founder and owner, Samuel E. Brown, M.D., with the family they hoped to build.  Married Zambian man has d!ed in his girlfriend’s house after he l!ed to the wife that he was going to do some pieceworks at some field with his friend.


The incident happened in Sinda District of Eastern Province on Sunday, April 12, 2026.


Eastern Province police commanding officer, Robertson Mweemba, who confirmed the incident on Monday told journalists that 50-year- old Julius Mwale had on Saturday, around 07:00 hours left his home and told the wife, Tasila Tembo that he was going to do some pieceworks at a certain farm with his friend, Gezani Banda, however, he went to his girlfriend’s house.


Banda reported to Police that Mwale was discovered d3ad, in a sitting position at his girlfriend, Anna’s house around 02:00 in the morning. 


“At around 18:00hrs, they both went to female Anna’s residence to drink locally brewed beer known as Kachasu. When they reached there, two others joined them. They first had nshima and later bought 4 x 175 mls of Kachasu beer and started drinking,” the police officer said.


The Eastern Province Police Chief says before Mwale, and Banda drunk alcohol they had bought, his girlfriend reportedly gave “score beer” to his friend, which he is said to have taken alone. 


The officer said after drinking beer, the deceased’s friends left while he remained, telling them he needed to sleep over at Anna’s house so he could help guard her maize harvest.


When interviewed by Police, the deceased’s girlfriend, Anna told authorities that she only heard a loud snore around 02:00 hours in the morning, and that when she attempted to wake the boyfriend, he was not responding.
