 Rapper Offset hospitalized after being shot in Florida


Rapper Offset is currently receiving medical care after being injured in a shooting incident on Monday evening in Florida.


A spokesperson for the former Migos star confirmed that he was taken to hospital and is in stable condition, though specific details about his injuries have not been publicly disclosed.


According to the statement, the rapper is being closely monitored by medical staff.


The incident reportedly happened at the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.


Police in Hollywood said one person sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening during the Monday evening incident.


Authorities did not officially identify the injured person, but Offset’s team later confirmed he was the one receiving treatment.


Law enforcement also stated that two individuals were taken into custody as investigations continue.


Officials added that the scene has been secured and there is currently no threat to the public, with normal operations continuing at the venue.


The news has naturally stirred concern among fans, especially given the painful history surrounding the Migos family.


Offset’s cousin and fellow group member Takeoff was fatally shot in 2022, a loss that deeply affected the hip-hop community and the group’s global fanbase.


Migos rose to worldwide fame with their signature rapid-fire flow and breakout hit Versace before going on to become one of the most influential rap groups of their era.


The trio later earned major recognition, including Grammy nominations for Culture.


Offset also remains in the public spotlight through his high-profile relationship history with Cardi B, with whom he shares three children.


The pair married privately in 2017, though Cardi B confirmed in 2024 that she had filed for divorce.
