Ruth Kadiri has sparked reactions after sharing her thoughts on how many Christians now turn to AI for answers instead of relying on their faith.
In a video, she said while AI can provide solutions, it should not replace the role of the Holy Spirit, which she described as a guide and source of clarity for believers.
According to her, people now ask AI to solve problems, but even when it delivers answers, it cannot offer the deeper fulfilment that comes from spiritual connection.
She also described AI as an imitation of what already exists in faith, noting that people are often drawn to it because it appears advanced and appealing.
Sharing a personal experience, she said she had been feeling overwhelmed and unable to focus, but after saying a simple prayer, she gained clarity, energy, and direction the next day.
Ruth Kadiri added that many people are gradually shifting from spiritual relationships and real-life communities to digital alternatives.
