 PRESS RELEASE FCT POLICE RESCUE SUSPECT FROM JUNGLE JUSTICE OVER ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION OF 5 YEAR OLD CHILD. …CP FCT Condemns such acts as it delays the course of justice The FCT Police Command, on the 4th of October 2026 at approximately 02:46PM, received a distress call reporting that an unidentified adult male was being assaulted by an angry mob over an alleged attempt to abduct a child. Following receipt of the report, police operatives from Kuje Division were immediately dispatched to the scene, where one Bashir Usman was rescued from an irate mob that was about to lynch him. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was being assaulted by the mob over allegations that he attempted to abduct a five year old child in front of her residence in Angwan Lado, Kuje Area Council of the FCT.  UBEC DISTRIBUTES 140,000 INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS TO BASIC AND JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN FCT


About 140,000 instructional materials have been distributed within the 6 Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory Basic and Junior Secondary schools an effort to strengthening  quality basic education.


The instructional materials expected to impact no fewer than 10,000 pupils include Digital boards, School bags, writing materials, and other essential teaching aids. Officials say the initiative is aimed at improving teaching and learning  outcomes, while also ensuring that students have access to the resources needed for academic excellence.

They noted that the provision of adequate instructional materials remains critical to effective classroom delivery and improved student performance.


Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC reaffirmed its resolve to continue implementing programmes and policies that will promote inclusive and quality education across the Federal Capital Territory.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
