 ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA URGES PRESIDENTS-GENERAL OF COMMUNITIES TO PRIORITISE SECURITY, STEP UP SUPPORT FOR FIGHT AGAINST CRIMINALITY The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, has called on Presidents-General of communities across the State to place the security and wellbeing of their respective communities at the forefront of their leadership responsibilities. The Commissioner made the call on 4th September 2026 while receiving the Association of Presidents-General of Communities in the State. He noted that the Presidents-General occupy strategic positions in their respective communities and therefore have a crucial role to play in supporting the Police and other security agencies in the fight against criminality.  VeryDarkMan: Court grants Blord bail


Celebrity Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been granted bail after spending weeks in Kuje prison over alleged impersonation of social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan.


Activist and former presidential candidate Omolere Sowore made this known in a terse statement on his official Facebook account on Friday.


According to him, Blord was bailed on his own recognizance after his arraignment in Federal High Court, Abuja.


He, however, said the court ordered Blord to deposit his international passport as part of his bail conditions.


“Bail has been granted to Linus Williams, popularly known as @mrblordofficial BLORD, on self-recognizance. The court, however, ordered that he deposit his international passport as part of the bail conditions,” he wrote.


Recall that Blord was ordered to be remanded in prison on April 1, 2026
