Wayne Lineker has been seen out in London with a model companion, marking a lively public appearance as he continues his sobriety journey.
The 63 year old businessman, and brother to Gary Lineker, looked relaxed and cheerful while spending time with the woman during a shopping trip on Bond Street.
The pair were photographed sharing affectionate moments, including kisses, as they moved between high end stores such as Prada.
Dressed in black linen trousers, a grey jumper, and a navy jacket, Lineker appeared at ease as he accompanied his companion, who wore a brown leather jacket and black trousers. At one point, she was seen trying on items he had bought for her, while he snapped photos of her posing in the gifts.
Despite the cosy scenes, a representative for Lineker downplayed any romantic conclusion. In a statement, they stressed that he is still single and simply enjoying his time.
“Wayne is single and has been for some time, the pictures reflect that he was out in London enjoying himself,” the spokesperson said. “There’s nothing more to read into it.”
The outing comes as Lineker marks eight months of sobriety, a milestone he has openly spoken about while reshaping his lifestyle.
He is expected to return to Ibiza soon for the new season, alongside celebrating his birthday with family.
In earlier interviews, Lineker had been candid about wanting companionship. He described love as the missing piece in his life, saying he hoped to find someone to settle down with.
During his time on Celebs Go Dating, he also shared that he was looking for a partner who is more mature and not drawn to the party scene.
