The incident leading to the arrest of 36-year-old Zachary Walton took place on Wednesday, April 29th.
Officers with the Fulton Police Department responded to a private residence after a verbal confrontation turned violent.
According to authorities, video footage from the scene of the altercation captured the entire ordeal.
In the video, you can see and hear Zachary becoming agitated after making a delivery to the home and not receiving a tip.
Zachary can be heard calling the victim "f***ing rude" while getting in his vehicle. He then calls the victim a "b***h" before telling the victim to "come get me."
Zachary then puts his vehicle in reverse and begins to back out of the driveway. As he was doing this, the victim began walking towards his vehicle.
Upon seeing the victim approaching, Zachary threw his vehicle into drive and accelerated towards the victim and struck the victim with his vehicle. The victim jumped on the hood of the vehicle. He said he did this to avoid further injury.
Zachary then sped away.
When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with the victim who had visible injuries. After reviewing the footage police determined Zachary had initiated the confrontation. They also noted that he could have easily just left after getting in his vehicle but chose to strike the victim with his vehicle.
Officers then went to Domino's and arrested Zachary Walton. While being taken into custody, Zachary admitted to driving towards the victim. He said he was only trying to scare the victim.
Zachary Walton made his first court appearance on Friday, May 1st. He is due back in court on Wednesday, May 6th.
