 A 19-year-old Texas man survived a lightning strike while fishing with his mother the day before Mothers Day. Hunter Wyche proclaimed himself the "unluckiest lucky man" after he was struck by lightning on Saturday, May 10th. Hunter had taken his mother fishing along the Angelina River and was expecting a relaxing day catching up with his mom and maybe catching a few fish. However, while Hunter leaned against a tree, lightning struck, throwing him several feet and leaving him unconscious and wounded. Hunter blacked out during the ordeal and awoke to his mother and a crowd of people around him. As Hunter regained consciousness, he couldn't move his right foot and could barely move his leg. He believes the strike went through his stomach down his right leg and back out through the top of his foot.  The strike also caused wood to explode everywhere, leaving him with wood shrapnel embedded in his skin and face. A TENNESSEE TEEN GIRL ERUPTS AT SCHOOL BOARD MEETING ACCUSING THE BOARD OF BEING COWARDS FOR INACTION AFTER A BOARD MEMBER MADE VERY INAPPROPRIATE REMARKS.(PHOTO).

 A Tennessee teen girl erupts at school board meeting accusing the board of being cowards for inaction after a board member made very inappropriate remarks.


When school board member Keith Ervin singled out Hannah Campbell on April 2nd, grabbing her in an embrace and calling her hot, it gained a lot of attention online, as well as with the media. 


Hannah had just finished delivering remarks to the board when Ervin grabbed the student and stated, "God, you're hot. Do you know that? Damn. Where do you go to school?"


The entire ordeal was captured on video and done in front of the entire school board and all in attendance.


Now, over a month after the uncomfortable incident, Hannah Campbell has spoken up at the most recent school board meeting on Thursday, May 8th.


Hannah began by stating that Ervin's actions were not only unwelcome but also s*xist and derogatory.  Hannah went on to voice her disappointment with the school board to take any true action against Ervin. Ervin was merely censured as "punishment". 


Hannah said, "To watch the chairperson be so quick to bang her gavel to control the public yet not use it once, in order to control her own peer, was disgusting." 


She went on to call out the board members as cowards and say she does not forgive Keith Ervin for his actions.


Keith Ervin has had little to say about the incident. He has denied any wrongdoing and stated that his comment was taken out of context. He has also stated that when he said Hannah was hot, he simply meant "she was on a roll and had nothing to do with her appearance". 


Keith Ervin has been on the school board since 2006, a fact that has many people believing he has fallen under the protection of the local good ol' boy system.


A change. org started on April 3rd, calling for Ervin's resignation. It has garnered 6,775 signatures and over 360 comments.
