 How Bauchi Accountant-General Transferred State Funds to Private Company - Witness   Trial of the Accountant-General of Bauchi State, Sirajo Muhammed Jaja continued on Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Obiora Egwuatu with a witness revealing how Jaja diverted state funds to a private company. Jaja is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC ,  alongside Aliyu Abubakar, Abubakar Muhammed Hafiz, Ari Manga and Muhammed Aminu Bose, for alleged corruption. The defendants are being prosecuted by the EFCC on an amended five-count charge of money laundering, diversion of public funds, and criminal misappropriation of funds to the tune of N1,635,270,350.9 (One Billion, Six Hundred and Thirty-five Million, Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty Naira, Nine Kobo).  Brooklyn Beckham snubs dad David’s 51st birthday as bitter family feud escalates


David Beckham’s 51st birthday was marked with warm tributes from his wife Victoria and their three younger children, but noticeably absent was any public acknowledgment from his eldest son, Brooklyn. 


While Victoria shared heartfelt posts praising her husband as the family’s “world” and “everything,” Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz remained silent online. 


David himself expressed gratitude for feeling “spoilt” by his loved ones, though the omission from Brooklyn stood out.


This wasn’t the first time Brooklyn skipped a family celebration. Just weeks earlier, he also failed to post about Victoria’s birthday, even as his siblings and father showered her with affection online. 


Reports suggest the Beckhams remain hopeful of repairing their relationship with Brooklyn, but the ongoing silence has left them saddened and surprised by the distance.


Underlying tensions have been simmering since Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding to Nicola. He previously accused his parents of interfering with the event, claiming Victoria canceled plans to make Nicola’s dress and even “hijacked” their first dance. 


In January, Brooklyn publicly declared he did not want reconciliation, alleging his parents were trying to sabotage his marriage. 


The continued absence of birthday tributes appears to reflect the unresolved rift between him and the rest of the Beckham family.
