 NAFDAC Alerts Public to Suspected Counterfeit Forxiga Medicines in Circulation The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has alerted the public to the circulation of suspected counterfeit medicinal products mimicking Forxiga (dapagliflozin) in the Nigerian market, warning that their use could pose serious health risks. The agency said the suspected counterfeit products were detected following market surveillance by pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. The disclosure was contained in Public Alert No. 036/2026 posted on NAFDAC’s X handle on Thursday. According to the notice, AstraZeneca notified the agency after identifying products bearing names closely resembling Forxiga® and imitating the company’s brand identity and logo.  Carter Efe Celebrates New House, Appreciates Davido and Throws Shade at Peller


Carter Efe has celebrated becoming a homeowner after announcing the purchase of a new house.


The content creator shared photos of the property online while thanking Davido and businessman Oloro for their support.


Carter Efe also appeared to throw shade at TikTok personality Peller, referencing past comments allegedly made about him not owning a house.


He said:

The latest achievement comes shortly after Carter Efe defeated Portable in a celebrity boxing match held in Lagos.


Following the victory, the skitmaker reportedly received a ₦50 million reward from businessman E-Money, alongside other perks including a German visa.
