PRESS RELEASE May 8, 2026 CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT IN CIRCULATION NOT OFFICIALLY RELEASED, BUT CONTENTS FURTHER AFFIRM ABDULRAHMAN AND ANYANWU’S LEADERSHIP OF THE PDP 1. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has become aware of the circulation of a purported Certified True Copy (CTC) of the recent Supreme Court judgment relating to matters concerning the party. 2. The PDP wishes to categorically state that the document currently in circulation was not officially released by the Supreme Court. A careful examination of the purported CTC reveals that it falls short of the established requirements for proper certification of official court documents. The pages were neither duly certified, stamped, nor signed by any authorized court officer in accordance with legally recognized procedures. 3. Community parades woman who took her married daughter for ab0rtion because son-in-law is too poor to provide for family 


A woman was paraded by members of her community for taking her married daughter to get an ab0rtion. 


In videos shared online, the woman from Ihunowere in Nsukka, Enugu State, is seen with palm fronds tied around her waist while holding a gong with which she went around the community to announce what she had done. 


As she made the announcement, people screamed in shock and booed her. 


Her daughter also walked alongside her as they did the walk of shame. 


According to reports, the woman's daughter married last year and when Christmas came, her husband did not give anything to her family. When Easter came and he also did not send foodstuff to her family, the woman confronted her son-in-law. 


The woman's son explained that he's financially down and could not afford to give them food items. 


The woman reportedly then sent for her married daughter to come home. She returned pregnant and her mother allegedly took her to get an ab0rtion. 


The woman admitted to this while being paraded around the community by Ihunowere youths. 


According to Tower FM Nsukka, the mother was told to pay the son-in-law 1 million naira for damages and perform funeral rites for the ab0rted baby.
