 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways.  Dangote refinery reduces aviation fuel price to N1,650 per litre 


Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has announced a reduction in the price of aviation fuel, also known as jet A1, to N1,650 per litre from N1,750 per litre.


In a statement on Tuesday, the refinery said the move is aimed at easing cost pressures on airlines and ensuring an uninterrupted petrol supply across the country.
