 Melania reveals true feelings about Donald Trump's attitude towards women In a 2015 interview with Barbara Walters, Melania Trump addressed questions about her husband’s reputation for making sharp remarks about women. She explained that his comments did not trouble her, since he spoke in the same blunt manner toward men.  Walters pressed further, citing Donald Trump’s criticism of Carly Fiorina’s appearance, but Melania maintained that the media tended to highlight his remarks about women more than those about men.  At the time, she chose not to accompany Trump on the campaign trail, preferring to remain at home with their son Barron, though she still offered feedback on his debate performances.  Diri Hosts Kefas, Tompolo, Others in Yenagoa, Calls for Unity Among Ijaw People


The Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, on Monday received the Governor of Taraba State, H.E. Agbu Kefas, alongside High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (popularly known as Tompolo) and other prominent stakeholders at the Government House in Yenagoa.


The delegation included Hon. Julius Pondi, Engr. Kestin Pondi, Joshua Machaiver, Pastor Ruben Wilson, and Mr. Paul Eris (Ogunbos), among others.


Governor Diri was joined by his deputy, H.E. Dr. Peter Akpe, the Acting Chief of Staff, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo, the APC State Chairman, Hon. Warman Ogoriba, Member representing Southern Ijaw Constituency I, Hon. Felix Bonny Ayah, Commissioner for Education, Hon. Gentle Emelah, Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Preye Brodrick, and other top government officials.


Welcoming the delegation, Governor Diri emphasized the importance of unity, solidarity, and sustained brotherhood among the Ijaw people, regardless of political or ideological differences.


He expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a reflection of enduring kinship and mutual respect.


“I appreciate my brother governor from Taraba State and my kinsmen for this visit. It underscores the importance of strengthening our bond of brotherhood from time to time for the continuity of our shared heritage as Ijaw people,” Governor Diri stated.


The visit is seen as a significant gesture of solidarity and collaboration among key leaders, to reinforce ties within and beyond the region.
