 U.S commends NDLEA over busts of Mexican meth labs as Marwa seeks continued support.   The United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) for Africa and the Middle East, Michael Gonzales has commended the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for its operational successes, describing Nigeria as the clear answer for the first country to visit after his appointment. Gonzales made the remark on Tuesday, 20th October 2026, during a visit to the NDLEA national headquarters in Abuja, where he was received by the Chairman/CEO, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), and members of the agency's management team. EBONYI STATE GOVERNOR BEGS RESIDENTS FOR FORGIVENESS, SEEKS 2027 VOTES FOR APC. (PHOTO).

 Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has appealed to residents to forgive the shortcomings of his administration and those of elected lawmakers, while urging them to renew their support for the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.


The governor made the appeal on Sunday, during a democracy Thanksgiving Service at the Government House Chapel in Abakaliki, held to commemorate the third anniversary of his administration.


Addressing worshippers, government officials, political stakeholders and religious leaders, Nwifuru acknowledged that mistakes may have been made by his government, members of the National Assembly and the Ebonyi State House of Assembly in the course of serving the people.


Despite the challenges, he called on the people of the state to remain supportive of their elected representatives.


He appealed, “Please forgive us; forgive me, the National Assembly members and the House of Assembly members. Forgive our shortcomings and vote for us again.”


Reflecting on his three years in office, the governor expressed gratitude to God for what he described as the achievements of his administration, stressing that governance is a learning process that demands humility, dedication and the understanding of the people.


He noted that no government can claim to be flawless but assured residents that his administration remains focused on improving service delivery, expanding infrastructure and ensuring that the benefits of democracy reach more communities across the state.


Nwifuru also reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining ongoing development programmes and policies aimed at enhancing the welfare and living standards of Ebonyi residents

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
