 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  Emmanuel Odiniya, father of BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye, speaks out on strained family relationship


The father of Big Brother Naija All Stars winner Ilebaye, Emmanuel Odiniya, has publicly addressed an ongoing family crisis, revealing that his once-close relationship with his daughter has deteriorated since her rise to fame.


In an emotional interview conducted on Sunday in Abuja, Odiniya claimed that Ilebaye now requires him to book appointments before he can see her. 


“She made me book an appointment before I could see her. Things are no longer the same between us,” he said.


According to him, the bond between father and daughter changed significantly following Ilebaye’s victory in the BBNaija All Stars edition and her subsequent success in the entertainment industry.


The family dispute gained widespread attention after a video of Ilebaye in an emotional state surfaced online days ago. The clip triggered mixed reactions on social media and reportedly prompted police intervention.


The situation continues to generate significant online discourse, with many fans expressing concern over the growing rift within the family.


Reality TV star Tacha Akide also waded into the matter, calling for urgent intervention after Ilebaye’s emotional livestream went viral. 


“Ilebaye’s face has been ruined,” Tacha was quoted as saying.
