 Pentagon releases new batch of UFO files showing unexplained UAP encounters, including military videos and eyewitness reports    The Pentagon has released another batch of declassified UFO-related materials, continuing a rolling disclosure of once-classified files ordered by President Donald Trump for public release. The latest drop includes more than 50 videos and documents involving unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), the government’s official term for UFOs, adding to a growing archive of material that has fueled public interest and debate about unexplained aerial activity. Among the newly released records are multiple military and surveillance videos showing unexplained objects in flight. One clip, recorded by a U.S. Coast Guard infrared sensor in April 2024, appears to show an object moving near an aircraft over the Southeastern United States.  Fire guts Sokoto State NLC Secretariat, destroys furniture, equipment and vital documents.


A devastating fire destroyed office equipment, critical documents, and other valuables, ravaging the Sokoto State Secretariat of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in the early hours of Saturday. The inferno, which broke out around 3 a.m., was likely caused by an electrical fault, according to NLC state secretary Hamisu Hussaini, with the damage described as extensive . 

The blaze consumed vital documents spanning over 30 years, office equipment, including computers, printers, refrigerators, televisions, and furniture. The watchman on duty was unable to contain the fire as it spread rapidly through the building. Firefighters arrived at the scene late but eventually brought the blaze under control 

 The incident has sparked calls for urgent improvements in Nigeria's power infrastructure, with stakeholders warning that unchecked electricity fluctuations pose a growing threat to lives and property nationwide. Sokoto State NLC Chairman Comrade Abdullahi Aliyu expressed deep anguish over the incident, describing it as both "unfortunate and disheartening" 2 This recent fire adds to a troubling pattern of fire incidents linked to electrical faults across the country, underscoring the urgent need for systemic reforms in the power sector.
