 France records first Ebola case in doctor returning from DR Congo France confirmed its first imported Ebola case after a humanitarian doctor returned from a mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Health Ministry said Wednesday, Anadolu Agency reported. The patient, who had returned from an area where the virus is circulating in Congo, was immediately admitted to a specialised healthcare facility and is in stable condition, the ministry said in a statement. “All precautionary measures, including the patient's isolation, were taken upon his arrival in the country,” it added, saying the transfer to hospital was carried out under secure conditions to prevent any risk of contamination. French health authorities said a full epidemiological investigation is underway to identify people who may have been in contact with the patient. Season 24 of American Idol concluded with Hannah Harper crowned as the winner on May 11, after months of competition and weekly performances. 


The finale featured Harper, Keyla Richardson, and Jordan McCullough battling for the top spot, with judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie offering feedback and global stars delivering memorable performances. 


While Keyla finished in third place, the final showdown between Hannah and Jordan ended with Hannah taking home the championship title.


Fans quickly celebrated the result online, praising Hannah’s talent and authenticity. Many highlighted her skills as both a songwriter and singer, calling her victory well deserved. 


Others noted that all three finalists were exceptional, describing the season as one filled with standout vocalists. 


Hannah first captured attention early in the competition with her original song “String Cheese,” which impressed the judges and helped propel her through the rounds to the finale.
