U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.  I should’ve done it sooner - Jennifer Lopez opens up about being single

Jennifer Lopez is embracing single life and says she finally feels comfortable exactly where she is.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, the singer and actress spoke candidly about dating, relationships, and how her mindset has changed in recent months.

When host Jimmy Kimmel asked whether she was currently single, Lopez quickly replied, “Yes! I shoulda done it sooner!”

The 56-year-old laughed as she reflected on her past relationships, admitting she now sees things differently.

“I’ve been doing it all wrong,” she said. “Trust me.”

Kimmel then jokingly suggested Lopez could become the next star of a reality dating show, but she immediately dismissed the idea.

“Are you crazy?” she responded. “I’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now.”

Lopez described this stage of her life as peaceful and refreshing, saying being on her own has actually been “fantastic.”

Although she made it clear she has no interest in televised romance, she did not completely close the door on love in the future.

“I’ll meet somebody somewhere one day if they’re good enough,” she said.

The conversation comes months after Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August 2024, ending their marriage just over two years after they tied the knot in 2022.

The pair famously reunited in 2021 after nearly two decades apart following the end of their first engagement in the early 2000s. Their reunion quickly captured public attention, with the couple returning to red carpets and public events together soon after reconnecting.

Lopez later spoke about needing to slow down and focus on herself following the split, explaining in an earlier interview that she no longer wanted to keep “running away” from difficult emotions.

The singer shares twins Max and Emme with former husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck shares three children with actress Jennifer Garner.

For now, Lopez appears focused on enjoying her independence, and judging by her comments, she is in no rush to change that.
