 Court Jails Two for N14.8m Fraud in Maiduguri Justice B.T Zannah of the Borno State High Court sitting in Maiduguri, on Monday, July 13, 2026 convicted and sentenced two to three years imprisonment. The convicts are: Babagana Bukar and Hauwa Chabri.  The convicts were arraigned on Monday, July 13, 2026 by the Maiduguri Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a separate one -count charge for the offence of criminal misappropriation to the tune of N14,800,000.00 (Fourteen  Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira). The charge against Bukar reads: "That you, Babagana Bukar sometimes in 2025 at Maiduguri, Borno State within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, dishonestly misappropriated and converted to your own use the aggregate sum of N8,800,000.00 (Eight Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira)  money belonging to Bunu Gambo Liman, being amount given to you through Babakura Umar and Bello Adamu for the supplies of 100 bags of IRS...

 Jamie Foxx Set to Welcome Baby No. 3 With Girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp


Jamie Foxx is preparing for a new chapter in his personal life, as reports confirm the actor and comedian is expecting another child with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.


The 58-year-old entertainer is already father to two daughters, Corinne, 32, and Anelise, 17, from previous relationships. This will be his first child with Alyce.


News of the pregnancy comes after a rollercoaster period in the couple’s relationship. 


Earlier this year, several reports claimed Jamie and Alyce had quietly gone their separate ways after about a year and a half together. Despite that, the pair were later seen reconnecting on multiple occasions.


Last October, they were spotted spending time together in Miami with friends during a boat outing and dinner date. Months later, in April 2026, the two were photographed leaving Nobu in Malibu, the same place where they were first linked publicly back in 2023.


Even during the breakup rumours, sources close to Jamie said he remained focused on work and family. 


At the time, he had been busy promoting his film Back in Action alongside Cameron Diaz and his Netflix special Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was ….


“Jamie is super busy, just the way he likes it,” a source previously shared, adding that the actor had been enjoying life despite personal changes.


Away from Hollywood, Jamie has often spoken warmly about fatherhood and the bond he shares with his daughters. 


In an earlier interview, he reflected on raising children in the spotlight and admitted he was proud of the women they had become.


“In this business, sometimes it can get crazy. We’re so proud of them. They ended up being okay,” he said at the time.
