 Melania reveals true feelings about Donald Trump's attitude towards women In a 2015 interview with Barbara Walters, Melania Trump addressed questions about her husband’s reputation for making sharp remarks about women. She explained that his comments did not trouble her, since he spoke in the same blunt manner toward men.  Walters pressed further, citing Donald Trump’s criticism of Carly Fiorina’s appearance, but Melania maintained that the media tended to highlight his remarks about women more than those about men.  At the time, she chose not to accompany Trump on the campaign trail, preferring to remain at home with their son Barron, though she still offered feedback on his debate performances.
