 Northwest University Debunks Claim Emir of Kano Sanusi Attended Lecture To Clear Carry-Over Northwest University, Kano, has dismissed a viral claim that the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, attended a lecture at the institution to clear an alleged academic carry-over. The university described the claim as false, baseless and misleading in a disclaimer dated August 10, 2026, issued by its Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Ibrahim, and published on its Facebook page. The institution said it had observed the circulation of a video showing Sanusi after attending a public lecture organised by the International Humanitarian Law Society at the university. According to the university, some social media users subsequently attached captions to the video claiming that the Emir had a carry-over and visited the institution to resolve the alleged academic deficiency.  Kelly Ripa offers to babysit Anne Hathaway's kids as she takes 'first day off' in 3.5 years: 'Just sleep all day'


Anne Hathaway appeared on Live With Kelly and Mark to promote her upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2, but the conversation quickly shifted to her demanding schedule. 


The Oscar-winning actress revealed that after years of nonstop work, she finally has her first day off coming up, surprising both the hosts and the audience. 


Hathaway explained that five films she worked on over the past three and a half years are all being released within a six-month span, leaving her little time to rest or reflect.


Kelly Ripa responded with humor and generosity, offering to take care of Hathaway’s children so the actress could spend her rare day off sleeping. 


Hathaway, who shares sons Jonathan and Jack with husband Adam Shulman, laughed at the suggestion and admitted that her family also recently welcomed a new puppy. 


Ripa quickly added that she and Mark would happily look after the puppy too, giving Hathaway the chance to truly recharge.


Hathaway joked that her priorities might lean toward keeping the puppy close while sending the kids off, but the exchange highlighted both her exhaustion and her lighthearted spirit.
