 Trump weighs limited strikes on Iran to protect ships and aircraft in Strait of Hormuz  President Donald Trump and senior administration officials are weighing limited U.S. strikes against Iranian military positions in the Strait of Hormuz to prevent Tehran from rebuilding radar, air defense and anti-ship missile systems that could threaten vessels, according to U.S. officials. The plan was developed by U.S. Central Command over the past week and has received support from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, but Trump had not approved the strikes before a new round of fighting with Iran over the weekend. The proposal is intended to reduce the threat to oil tankers, U.S. Navy ships and military aircraft operating in the strategically important waterway. The U.S. military has spent the past two months weakening Iranian military capabilities in the Strait of Hormuz, clearing mines and helping guide ships through the passage.  Kelly Ripa offers to babysit Anne Hathaway's kids as she takes 'first day off' in 3.5 years: 'Just sleep all day'


Anne Hathaway appeared on Live With Kelly and Mark to promote her upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2, but the conversation quickly shifted to her demanding schedule. 


The Oscar-winning actress revealed that after years of nonstop work, she finally has her first day off coming up, surprising both the hosts and the audience. 


Hathaway explained that five films she worked on over the past three and a half years are all being released within a six-month span, leaving her little time to rest or reflect.


Kelly Ripa responded with humor and generosity, offering to take care of Hathaway’s children so the actress could spend her rare day off sleeping. 


Hathaway, who shares sons Jonathan and Jack with husband Adam Shulman, laughed at the suggestion and admitted that her family also recently welcomed a new puppy. 


Ripa quickly added that she and Mark would happily look after the puppy too, giving Hathaway the chance to truly recharge.


Hathaway joked that her priorities might lean toward keeping the puppy close while sending the kids off, but the exchange highlighted both her exhaustion and her lighthearted spirit.
