PRESS RELEASE May 8, 2026 CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT IN CIRCULATION NOT OFFICIALLY RELEASED, BUT CONTENTS FURTHER AFFIRM ABDULRAHMAN AND ANYANWU’S LEADERSHIP OF THE PDP 1. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has become aware of the circulation of a purported Certified True Copy (CTC) of the recent Supreme Court judgment relating to matters concerning the party. 2. The PDP wishes to categorically state that the document currently in circulation was not officially released by the Supreme Court. A careful examination of the purported CTC reveals that it falls short of the established requirements for proper certification of official court documents. The pages were neither duly certified, stamped, nor signed by any authorized court officer in accordance with legally recognized procedures. 3. LAWMA ARREST OF ANOTHER SET OF THREE ENVIRONMENTAL DEFAULTERS WITHIN THE EGAN, AKESAN, AND IGANDO CORRIDORS OF IGANDO-IKOTUN LCDA.(PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE

 The sustained night monitoring and enforcement operations by the LAWMA Project WISE Team recorded the arrest of another set of three environmental defaulters within the Egan, Akesan, and Igando corridors of Igando-Ikotun LCDA.


The offenders, identified as Ibrahim Yusuf (30), Kabiru Abubakar (15), and Easter Sunday (21), were apprehended for illegally dumping waste on road medians after the night's trading activities.


LAWMA maintains a zero-tolerance approach to illegal waste disposal. Enforcement operations will continue across identified hotspots. 


Residents and traders are strongly advised to patronize approved PSP operators and dispose of waste through authorized channels only.


Environmental responsibility is a collective duty. A cleaner Lagos begins with proper waste disposal.
