Man arrested with weapon near Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s home in Norfolk, police say

Police in Norfolk, England, arrested a man after he was found with a weapon near the residence of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on Thursday.

Authorities said the man was carrying an offensive weapon and was behaving in what they described as an intimidating manner. He was taken into custody at the scene. Officials have not released further details about his identity or the circumstances leading up to the arrest.

The incident occurred near the home where Mountbatten-Windsor currently resides in Norfolk after relocating there following the loss of his royal titles and his removal from a previous royal residence. Those actions were tied to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Mountbatten-Windsor was recently arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, marking what has been described as an unprecedented legal development involving a member of the royal family.

Authorities have not indicated any known motive for the man’s presence near the property or whether Mountbatten-Windsor was directly targeted. The investigation is ongoing.
