 PRESS RELEASE BENUE POLICE ARRESTS FIVE PAKISTAN NATIONALS IN RURAL AREAS OF THE STATE, RECOVER 35 MOBILE PHONES IN SEPARATE OPERATIONS The Benue State Police Command has arrested five Pakistani nationals and recovered thirty-five (35) mobile phones in separate intelligence-led operations conducted in Otukpo and Ugbokolo areas. On 4th August 2026, operatives of the Command, acting on credible intelligence, arrested three Pakistanis at Adoka Motor Park, Otukpo Local Government Area. The suspects, identified as Younas Mohammad, 36; Ahmad Nunil, 38; and Aslam Muhammad, 46, were intercepted while attempting to board a vehicle to Adoka village. During preliminary questioning, the suspects stated that they were in Otukpo for the purpose of marketing cosmetics and mobile gadgets none of which were found in their possession.  Melania Trump offers powerful advice to young moms before Mother’s Day


First Lady Melania Trump has shared heartfelt advice for young mothers ahead of Mother’s Day, drawing from her own experiences as a mother to Barron Trump and stepmother to Donald Trump’s older children. 


In an interview with USA Today, she encouraged mothers to shower their children with love and support, communicate openly, and respect their individuality. 


Melania emphasized guiding children with wisdom while allowing them the freedom to carve their own paths, reminding mothers that nurturing helps children shine.


She also reflected on her upbringing in Slovenia, where Mother’s Day was celebrated on March 8 alongside International Women’s Day. 


Melania recalled creating a painting of her mother in art class, which her mother cherished, teaching her the power of encouragement and heritage. 


She spoke warmly of her late mother, Amalija Knavs, who passed away in 2024, describing her as the epitome of love and warmth. Amalija played a vital role in raising Barron, forming a special bond with him through storytelling, games, and shared meals that celebrated togetherness.


Melania credited her parents’ dedication with shaping Barron into the young man he is today, saying their love and guidance provided a strong foundation for his growth. 


She expressed her commitment to offering the same support as he navigates his own path. 


By honoring her mother’s legacy and sharing wisdom with young mothers, Melania highlighted the importance of love, resilience, and family bonds in shaping future generations.
