The people of Nawfia Community in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State have paid congratulatory courtesy visit to their daughter and the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, following her appointment by the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
The delegation was led by the traditional ruler of Nawfia, His Majesty Igwe Amb. Dr. Daniel Obelle, alongside other prominent sons and daughter of the community.
Speaking during the visit, Igwe Daniel Obelle expressed the joy and pride of the Nawfia people over the appointment of Mrs. Nnake as the first female Secretary to State Government in Anambra State. He describes her as a worthy daughter whose hard work, dedication, and sterling qualities distinguished her for the exalted office.
The monarch urged the new SSG to continue to uphold the virtues of integrity, hard work, diligence, and humility that have brought honour to the community. He also appreciated Governor Soludo for finding their daughter worthy to serve the State in such a strategic capacity, describing the appointment as a very big honour to Nawfia Community and assured him that the community will continue to support his administration.
Responding, Mrs. Nnake thanked the traditional ruler and members of the delegation for the honour done to her through the visit. She assured them of her commitment to continue making Nawfia proud through dedicated and selfless services service to the state.
The SSG also solicited the prayers and support of the community to enable her succeed in the mandate entrusted to her by Governor Soludo.
