Nicole Scherzinger Left Disappointed After Pussycat Dolls Cancel Most U.S. Tour Dates

Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly struggling with mixed emotions after the Pussycat Dolls were forced to cancel nearly all the U.S. dates on their PCD Forever Tour.

While the group is still preparing for international performances later this year, insiders say the setback has been hard on the singer, who had been looking forward to reconnecting with fans alongside Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt.

According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, Nicole felt genuinely excited about bringing the group back for a fresh chapter after years away from the stage.

The insider explained that she wanted fans to experience the energy and chemistry the trio still shares, but now feels disappointed that they may not fully get that chance in America.

The source admitted the group may have aimed too high too quickly. After spending more than 15 years away from touring, the Pussycat Dolls reportedly booked massive venues, including Madison Square Garden, despite only recently releasing one comeback single, “Club Song.”

Insiders say the demand simply did not match the scale of the venues selected, leading to disappointing ticket sales and the cancellation of 32 dates across the United States.

Even with the setbacks, Nicole has remained focused on rehearsals for the group’s only remaining American appearance at the OutLoud Music Festival in West Hollywood on June 6.

On Tuesday, May 12, she shared an Instagram video showing herself, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt practicing choreography ahead of the Pride Week performance.

Behind the scenes though, the situation is said to be emotionally difficult for the 47-year-old performer. The insider noted that Nicole has experienced several frustrating career moments over the years, including her shelved solo album, Her Name Is Nicole, and the cancellation of the group’s previous reunion tour back in 2020.

The source added that although Nicole has enjoyed success in other areas of entertainment, there is still sadness attached to projects and music that never fully reached the public.

Still, there is optimism within the camp. The Pussycat Dolls are expected to continue with their European tour dates beginning in September, and Nicole is reportedly very excited about what they have planned overseas.

Those close to the singer believe the performances abroad could eventually help rebuild interest in the group back in the United States.

There is hope that once fans see videos from the European shows, the Dolls could get another opportunity to reconnect with American audiences in the future.
