 Teresa Giudice’s daughter Gia begs Donald Trump to pardon her father as he remains deported: 'Trying everything we can' Gia Giudice has continued to advocate for her father, Joe Giudice, who was deported to Italy in 2019 following his prison sentence. Speaking with Fox 5 New York, the Next Gen: NYC star revealed that her family recently submitted a humanitarian packet in hopes of securing a pardon from President Donald Trump.  She emphasized that they are doing everything possible to reunite with Joe, noting that any child would want their father back home. Gia also mentioned that she plans to visit him soon in the Bahamas, where he is currently living, and assured fans that he is “doing great.” Her latest push comes a year after she faced backlash for publicly asking Trump to intervene.  PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES NEW KANO DEPUTY GOVERNOR, MURTALA GARO


President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, the new deputy governor of Kano State, following his swearing-in by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on Tuesday.


A statement by Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga says, Governor Yusuf nominated Garo to fill the vacant position created by the departure of Comrade  Aminu Abdulsalam, who resigned in the aftermath of the governor's defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).


The 48-year-old politician had served in various positions, including Chairman of Kabo Local Government and as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs under the  administration of Dr Abdullahi Ganduje.


President Tinubu commended Governor Yusuf for the appointment, which solidified the much-needed unity within the ranks of the APC in Kano State. 


He urged the new deputy governor to work assiduously alongside the governor to provide the leadership needed to accelerate the state's development. 


President Tinubu wishes Mr Garo well in the new responsibility.
