 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE SWIFT RESPONSE: POLICE/COMMUNITY ARREST TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS, RECOVER STOLEN VALUABLES IN BIRSHI GANDU In its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property, the Bauchi State Police Command,  has recorded yet another commendable breakthrough following prompt response to a distress report. On 17th October, 2026 at about 1015hrs, four complainants (two males and two females), all of Birshi Gandu, reported at 'E' Division that on the same day, while they were asleep in their compound housing Cozy Resort Hotel, three hoodlums armed with knives and machetes forcefully broke in and dispossessed them of their personal belongings including Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23, Redmi Note 14, iPhones, iPads, a Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet, power banks, earpods and other valuables running into millions of Naira, including office ID cards and driver's license.  Real Madrid Fine Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni After Training Ground Clash


Real Madrid have confirmed disciplinary action against Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni following a reported altercation during training.


Reports claimed tensions between both players escalated over two days before the disagreement reportedly became physical. The incident allegedly left Valverde with a minor injury after he hit his head and briefly lost consciousness.


The Spanish club has now addressed the matter publicly, revealing that both players were fined €500,000 after apologising to each other, their teammates, and the club.


It was also reported that the club held an emergency meeting after the situation intensified.


A statement released by Real Madrid read:


"Real Madrid C. F. announces that, following the events that led to the disciplinary proceedings initiated yesterday against our players Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouameni, both appeared today before the investigator assigned to the case.


"During their appearance, the players expressed their complete remorse for what happened and apologized to each other.


"Furthermore, they extended their apologies to the club, their teammates, the coaching staff, and the fans, and both have made themselves available to Real Madrid to accept whatever "sanction the club deems appropriate.


"Under these circumstances, Real Madrid has decided to impose a financial penalty of five hundred thousand euros on each player, thereby concluding the corresponding internal procedures."
