 ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA URGES PRESIDENTS-GENERAL OF COMMUNITIES TO PRIORITISE SECURITY, STEP UP SUPPORT FOR FIGHT AGAINST CRIMINALITY The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, has called on Presidents-General of communities across the State to place the security and wellbeing of their respective communities at the forefront of their leadership responsibilities. The Commissioner made the call on 4th September 2026 while receiving the Association of Presidents-General of Communities in the State. He noted that the Presidents-General occupy strategic positions in their respective communities and therefore have a crucial role to play in supporting the Police and other security agencies in the fight against criminality.  Starz cancels Spartacus: House of Ashur after one season, with series being shopped to other platforms, reports say

The gladiator drama Spartacus: House of Ashur will not return for a second season on Starz, marking the end of the series’ run on the network.

Show creator Steven DeKnight addressed the cancellation on social media, writing, “All I can say at the moment is one door closes, another, better door opens...”

While the series has been canceled at Starz, the show is not necessarily finished. It is reportedly being shopped to other networks and streaming platforms in hopes of finding a new home.

Spartacus: House of Ashur featured Nick E. Tarabay reprising his role as Ashur from Spartacus: Vengeance, a previous spin-off of the original Spartacus series. The cast also included Graham McTavish, Tenika Davis, and Claudia Black.
