COURT ADJOURNS EL-RUFAI, SIX OTHERS' #8.68 BILLION FRAUD CASE TO DECEMBER 8 The Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna has adjourned the trial of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, and six others over alleged corruption and money laundering involving an ₦8.68 billion Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance contract to December 8, 2026, following changes in the legal teams representing the prosecution and the first defendant. A statement by Head Media and Public Communications(ICPC), Okor Odey says the matter instituted by Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), came up before Honourable Justice Hauwa’u Buhari of the Federal High Court, Kaduna Judicial Division, where the newly appointed prosecution counsel, Ibrahim Muktar, announced his appearance and informed the court of a change in the prosecution team.  Vanessa Trump reveals shocking breast cancer diagnosis: Kai Trump and Ivanka Trump react


Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. 


In a post shared on Instagram, the 48-year-old announced she is working closely with her doctors on a treatment plan after undergoing a medical procedure earlier in the week. 


She asked for privacy as she focuses on recovery, expressing gratitude for the love and support of her family, children, and close friends.


The news prompted an immediate wave of support from loved ones and followers. Ivanka Trump commented with a heartfelt message, praying for Vanessa’s strength and recovery, while her eldest daughter, Kai, praised her mother as the “strongest person I know” on social media. 


Just days earlier, Kai had honored Vanessa on Mother’s Day with a touching tribute, thanking her for always being supportive and loving toward her five children.


Vanessa, who divorced Donald Trump Jr. in 2018 after 12 years of marriage, has largely kept her personal life private in recent years, focusing on raising her children. 


Earlier this year, she confirmed her relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods. Her announcement also comes amid broader awareness of breast cancer, one of the most common cancers among women in the U.S. 


According to the American Cancer Society, advances in treatment and early detection have significantly improved survival rates in recent years.
