A Missouri man launched an attack on his ex and her new boyfriend using a homemade flame thrower.  The unorthodox and unsettling attack occurred on June 13th at a home on Old County Road in Franklin County, Missouri.  On that evening, deputies were called to the home after Christopher Viehland entered a home occupied by his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend. Christopher was wielding a modified fire extinguisher that was filled with gasoline. The would-be weapon had the word "flame thrower" hand written on it. There is no evidence that the device was ever functional as a flame thrower.  Christopher did use it to douse his ex-girlfriend with gasoline. However, a scuffle between Christopher and her current boyfriend ensued. During the fight, Christopher struck the victim in the head with a flashlight, causing a laceration to his head. Christopher also bit the victim on the stomach and left teeth marks.  While Christopher was engaged by the current boyfriend,...

A KENTUCKY COMMUNITY IS SHOCKED AND REELING AFTER THE DRAMATIC EVENTS THAT ENDED IN THE LOSS OF TWO TEENAGE GIRLS AND A YOUNG MAN IN A M*RDER/ SUICIDE. (PHOTO).

A Kentucky community is shocked and reeling after the dramatic events that ended in the loss of two teenage girls and a young man in a m*rder/ su*c*de.

This heartbreaking and dramatic incident began at approximately 10:43 p.m. yesterday evening, Saturday, June 6th. Knox County dispatch received a call from the concerned parents of one of the victims regarding a possible domestic violence incident.

According to official reports, 21-year-old James Priddy had left a residence in Barbourville, Kentucky, to get something to eat. He left the residence in his Chevy Colbalt with his 18-year-old girlfriend Jadence Hale, and her friend 19-year-old Kira Hope. Sometime after leaving the home, some sort of altercation must have occurred prompting the call to Knox County.

Barbourville police officers quickly located the vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. A pursuit ensued involving both Knox County Deputies and Barbourville police department officers. According to authorities, James refused to let both Jadence and Kira out of his vehicle.

The pursuit continued into Laurel County, where it came to a dramatic end when authorities attempted to box the fleeing vehicle in. The maneuver caused James to  crash into another vehicle.

Authorities cautiously approached the vehicle only to discover a truly disturbing scene. All three occupants were deceased from gunshot wounds.

It is believed James took the lives of both Jadence and Kira before turning the weapon on himself.

The incident remains under investigation.

Our thoughts go out to all families and friends of these young individuals whose lives were cut short in such a senseless act of violence.
