 Bandits Kill Farmer In Kajuru Community


Armed bandits have killed a farmer, identified as Baba Bala, in Kasuwar Magani, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.


The victim, popularly known as Sarkin Daji, was reportedly attacked and killed while working on his farm on Sunday.


A resident of the community, Mansur Ibrahim, confirmed the incident, noting that the deceased had since been buried according to Islamic rites.


He expressed concern over the worsening security situation in the area, saying residents were increasingly worried about the persistent attacks by armed groups.


“This is one of several incidents recorded in the area. Residents are urging authorities to strengthen security and protect lives and property,” Ibrahim said.


Kajuru and several communities across the North-West have continued to experience attacks by bandits, who often target farmers, impose illegal levies, and carry out kidnappings, forcing many residents to abandon their farmlands.
