BBNaija's Angel Smith’s Mother Breaks Silence on Viral Leaked Video and Smoking Rumors

The online space has been thrown into a frenzy following the circulation of leaked private videos featuring Big Brother Naija reality star Angel Smith. Amidst the swirling controversy, Angel’s mother has stepped forward to clear the air regarding her appearance in one of the viral clips.

Angel Smith's Mother Clarifies the Smoking Video

In one of the widely shared video clips, Angel’s mother was spotted in the background seemingly smoking a substance. As critics and fans began to speculate and criticize the mother-daughter dynamic, she took to her Snapchat account to address the narrative directly.

According to her, the substance she was seen using was actually a medically prescribed treatment. She explained that it was recommended by her doctors to aid her recovery following a surgical procedure she recently underwent. By addressing the rumors head-on, she hoped to put an end to the negative assumptions surrounding her parental influence and lifestyle.

Details of the Video leak

The controversy began on Wednesday night, June 3, when several private videos of the reality TV star began making the rounds on social media. The clips, which quickly went viral, reportedly showed the BBNaija star in compromising situations—one showing her exposing her bosom and another where she was seen smoking.

Social media platforms have since been flooded with mixed reactions. While some users have criticized the reality star for the leaks, a large portion of her fanbase has rallied behind her, calling out the invasion of her privacy and demanding respect for her personal life.

A String of Family and Relationship Drama

This latest scandal comes on the heels of another public feud involving Angel, her family, and her estranged partner, Tumi. Not long before the video leak, Angel had used her Snapchat platform to drag Tumi for allegedly causing the arrest of her mother.

Angel claimed that Tumi had her mother detained over a car that Angel had gifted her. According to the reality star, the vehicle was legally registered in her own name, making the theft allegations and subsequent arrest completely baseless. She accused Tumi of emotional abuse, spreading falsehoods, and manipulating friends and the public to tarnish her image.

As the dust settles on these dual controversies, fans continue to watch closely to see how the reality star and her family navigate the intense public scrutiny.
