 Flights suspended to Ethiopian holy town of Lalibela as fighting expands Flights to the historic Ethiopian town of Lalibela ​were suspended on Thursday due to fighting nearby, seven sources said, as residents in the Tigray region to the north stocked up on food and ‌cash, fearing that renewed fighting could trigger another major war. Tigrayan forces seized three local airports and launched attacks in Afar and Amhara regions with allies there this week, in the most serious escalation since a devastating 2020-22 war against Ethiopian government troops. In its first public comments on the fighting, Ethiopia's army said on Thursday that it had foiled the attacks and killed, wounded or captured more than 500 enemy fighters. The United Nations ​and the European Union called for restraint and a return to the African Union-brokered peace process that had ended a conflict that killed hundreds of thousands of people. Ben Affleck’s ex-wife concerned about his love life and reportedly wants the actor to take a break from dating


Jennifer Garner is reportedly keeping a close eye on her ex-husband Ben Affleck as he adjusts to life after divorcing Jennifer Lopez. Sources claim Garner believes Affleck should take time for himself rather than rushing into another relationship, noting that he appears “happier” in his current single state. 


While she cares deeply about his wellbeing, insiders stress that Garner respects Affleck’s independence and trusts him to make his own choices when it comes to dating.


Affleck, meanwhile, has signaled he may be open to returning to the dating scene, though his busy schedule makes a serious commitment uncertain. Friends have even offered to set him up, but for now, his main focus remains on his family and professional projects. 


Garner and Affleck continue to maintain a strong co-parenting relationship, raising their three children Violet, Seraphina (Finn), and Sam together. Garner has acknowledged the challenges of parenting across two households but emphasized that both she and Affleck take on dual roles to support their kids.


Away from Garner, Affleck has made a decisive move to sever ties with Lopez by gifting her his share of their Beverly Hills mansion, the last property linking them after their divorce. 


The gesture surprised many and was seen as his way of moving forward. Interestingly, insiders suggest Lopez interpreted the act as proof of Affleck’s good character, sparking renewed hope about their relationship. 


Despite the split, their children remain close, with Affleck’s kids and Lopez’s twins reportedly making a pact to stay connected, showing maturity that has influenced how all three adults interact post-divorce.
