 FG ARRAIGNS 400 TERRORISM SUSPECTS The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi (SAN), has arraigned for prosecution over 400 terrorism suspects.  Judiciary Correspondent Austin Anyebe reports that the trials are taking place in different courts at the Federal High Court complex in Abuja.  A team led by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi SAN supported by the Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), is prosecuting the suspects. Similar mass trial took place in April 2026. In that trial out of 508 defendants, the AGF's office secured 386 convictions, with 8 discharges and 2 acquittals.  Many of the convicts received prison sentences of up to 20 years.  The defendants are facing charges linked to terrorism, aiding and abetting insurgent activities, and financing.  DJ Cuppy Rules Out Marrying a Nigerian Man: 'The Last One Wanted My Dad, Not Me'


Nigerian disc jockey, producer, and billionaire heiress Florence Otedola, famously known as DJ Cuppy, has once again set social media ablaze with her candid thoughts on love and relationships. In a recent podcast appearance, the star entertainer made a shocking declaration, revealing she believe marrying a Nigerian is no longer an option due to past dating experiences where suitors seemed more interested in her family wealth than her heart.


The Struggle of Dating as a Billionaire's Daughter


Being the daughter of oil magnate and billionaire businessman Femi Otedola comes with undeniable perks, but for Cuppy, it has proven to be a major hurdle in her search for a genuine life partner. During the podcast, she opened up about the emotional toll of having her family background overshadow her personal identity.

Speaking on the podcast, the "Gelato" crooner shared her frustrations clearly: "I can never marry a Nigerian. It’s impossible. The last one I dated was asking me when he could meet my dad. I didn’t even think they liked me."


This realization left her questioning the authenticity of suitors who approach her. She lamented that her public profile and family's status often serve as a magnet for opportunistic individuals, making it nearly impossible to filter out those who genuinely love her for who she is on the inside.

Despite the challenges she faces, Cuppy clarified that her father is far from strict when it comes to her choice of a partner. According to her, Femi Otedola has no rigid expectations or demands regarding his daughters' future husbands his primary wish is simply to see them happy and settled.


"My dad doesn’t even care who I marry; he just wants me to get married," she explained. She pointed to her sister, fashion entrepreneur Temi Otedola, and her husband, singer Mr Eazi, as a beacon of hope and happiness. "That’s why I’m so happy for Temi and Eazi," Cuppy added, admiring their genuine bond.
