 ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA URGES PRESIDENTS-GENERAL OF COMMUNITIES TO PRIORITISE SECURITY, STEP UP SUPPORT FOR FIGHT AGAINST CRIMINALITY The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, has called on Presidents-General of communities across the State to place the security and wellbeing of their respective communities at the forefront of their leadership responsibilities. The Commissioner made the call on 4th September 2026 while receiving the Association of Presidents-General of Communities in the State. He noted that the Presidents-General occupy strategic positions in their respective communities and therefore have a crucial role to play in supporting the Police and other security agencies in the fight against criminality.  FRSC  PATROL OPERATION RECOVERS  STOLEN VEHICLE IN EDO STATE


The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has recovered a stolen vehicle by personnel of the Iruekpen Unit Command, Edo State.


In a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Osondu Ohaeri, The recovery occurred on Sunday, 14 June 2026, following a distress report received by the patrol team concerning a Toyota Camry, gold in colour, with registration number RBC 987 CM, which was reportedly stolen from a church premises in Benin City earlier in the day.


The suspect found in possession of the vehicle claimed to be a delivery agent but has been handed over to officers of the Nigeria Police Force and taken into custody for further interrogation.
