 GOVERNOR DAUDA LAWAL APPROVES PAYMENT OF ALLOWANCES TO NYSC MEMBERS SERVING IN ZAMFARA STATE


Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has approved payment of allowances/stipends to National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members serving in the state.


This is contained in statement by Mahmud Muhammad Dantawasa, Commissioner of Information and Culture who notes the approval reflects the administration's commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of corps members contributing to development across the state.


The approval covers corps members from Batch A Stream I and II to Batch C Stream I and II.


The state government said the gesture is in recognition of the patriotism, dedication and selfless service of the young graduates in education, healthcare, agriculture and other key sectors of the state's economy.


Governor Lawal has also directed the Office of the Accountant General to make all necessary arrangements for the implementation of the approval.
