 GOVERNOR OYEBANJI, DEPUTY RECEIVE CERTIFICATES OF RETURN FOR SECOND TERM


Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his deputy, Monisade Afuye, have received their Certificates of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a second term in office.


This is in line with the Electoral Act following Governor Oyebanji's victory in the June 20, 2026 Ekiti State governorship election, where he polled 319,224 votes to defeat other candidates.


The presentation of the certificates clears the path for Governor Oyebanji's inauguration for a second term in office.
