Nigerian man, Chimaobim arrested after caught with pants off, exposing self in public in U.S U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a Nigerian national, Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe in Pennsylvania after he pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge following a public exposure incident. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said ICE took Igbojekwe into custody on October 1, following his arrest by local police on September 27. According to DHS, Igbojekwe pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge. Following his conviction, ICE arrested him on October 1. Local reports cited by DHS said Igbojekwe was working as a canvasser for Janelle Stelson, the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, when the incident occurred. He was allegedly found in a residential neighbourhood near a park with his trousers down and exposed in public, with residents, including children, in the area.  IGP DISU FLAGS OFF NATIONWIDE POCACOV ADVOCACY AND SENSITIZATION CAMPAIGN


The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has flagged off the nationwide advocacy and sensitization campaign of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), with activities set to commence across State Commands nationwide.


The initiative forms part of the Nigeria Police Force's commitment to proactive policing, community engagement, and sustained efforts to combat cultism and other social vices through grassroots sensitization, early intervention, and strategic stakeholder engagement.


As the flagship community policing initiative of the Nigeria Police Force, POCACOV is designed to discourage youth involvement in cultism, drug abuse, violent crime, and other social vices by promoting positive values and strengthening partnerships with schools, communities, religious bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.


The Nigeria Police Force remains committed to preventive policing strategies that promote public safety, protect young people from criminal influences, and foster safer communities across the country.
