 How Bauchi Accountant-General Transferred State Funds to Private Company - Witness   Trial of the Accountant-General of Bauchi State, Sirajo Muhammed Jaja continued on Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Obiora Egwuatu with a witness revealing how Jaja diverted state funds to a private company. Jaja is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC ,  alongside Aliyu Abubakar, Abubakar Muhammed Hafiz, Ari Manga and Muhammed Aminu Bose, for alleged corruption. The defendants are being prosecuted by the EFCC on an amended five-count charge of money laundering, diversion of public funds, and criminal misappropriation of funds to the tune of N1,635,270,350.9 (One Billion, Six Hundred and Thirty-five Million, Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty Naira, Nine Kobo).  LASCOHET COMMENCES POST UTME SCREENING, ADMISSION FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION


The Registrar of Lagos State College of Health Technology, Mr. Christopher Ekundayo has on behalf of the Provost and Management of the College announced the commencement of the post UTME screening and admission process from the 19th May to the 18th of July 2026 for the 2026/27 academic session. 


Mr. Ekundayo stated that the College invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various accredited programmes via the college website: https://eportal.lascohet.edu.ng with a payment of N25,000 for the form. 


The Registrar reaffirmed the college’s commitment to producing competent, skilled and globally competitive health professionals capable of meeting the ever-evolving healthcare needs of society. “LASCOHET is one of the oldest and most respected health training institutions, and has continued to provide quality health education”, he said.


Mr. Ekundayo warned candidates against patronising unauthorised admission agents and to follow the duly stated admission process as outlined on the institution's website.
