 LAGOS CELEBRATES SOPHIA EKERUCHE: WORLD’S BEST YOUTH FEMALE SCRABBLE PLAYER The Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) hosted Wizkid Scrabble player Sophia Ekeruche of Team Lagos, the 15-year-old crowned the world's best female Scrabble player at the just-concluded World Youth Scrabble Championship held in Kenya this past August. Hon. Lekan Fatodu, Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, received the young champion in his office at Teslim Balogun Stadium.  LASCOHET COMMENCES POST UTME SCREENING, ADMISSION FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION


The Registrar of Lagos State College of Health Technology, Mr. Christopher Ekundayo has on behalf of the Provost and Management of the College announced the commencement of the post UTME screening and admission process from the 19th May to the 18th of July 2026 for the 2026/27 academic session. 


Mr. Ekundayo stated that the College invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various accredited programmes via the college website: https://eportal.lascohet.edu.ng with a payment of N25,000 for the form. 


The Registrar reaffirmed the college’s commitment to producing competent, skilled and globally competitive health professionals capable of meeting the ever-evolving healthcare needs of society. “LASCOHET is one of the oldest and most respected health training institutions, and has continued to provide quality health education”, he said.


Mr. Ekundayo warned candidates against patronising unauthorised admission agents and to follow the duly stated admission process as outlined on the institution's website.
